FAQ DMC BOX

The DMC BOX is our unique solution for running and operating Radio and TV at your point of sale, which eliminates the need for an on-site computer.
It’s a compact, modern device, equipped with DMC's own media manager software and its installation does not require the presence of a specialized technician, being developed in the best “plug & play” format.
The DMC BOX works offline, that is, the programming will not be interrupted
even if there is no internet. However, to keep your programming updated, it’s necessary that the device is always connected to the internet network.

1. In a sound system:
It can be connected to external sound devices through cables: P2x RCA, P2xP2 and P2 X P10 in amplifiers, audio monitors, as our device has a Jack audio input.
1. Along with external monitors (Digital Signage):
In this case, just connect them to an HDMI or Micro HDMI cable (some DMC BOX models). If the sound system is not present, the TV speakers will be used for broadcasting the audio content, if the monitors have built-in speakers available.
Our equipment works offline, that is, the playlist will run even without an internet connection, however, for a better user experience and for updates to be carried out, we recommend that the DMC BOX is always connected to an internet network.

I'm having trouble downloading or updating playlists and spot content. What should I do?

Make sure the DMC BOX has internet connection and that the device has no blockage on the internal network (routers, firewall).

If the problem persists:
Unplug the router's power cable from the outlet.
Unplug the DMC BOX power cable from the outlet.
Wait 30 seconds.

Meanwhile, check whether the network cable is properly connected to both devices.
Plug the router into the power supply. The lights on the modem will blink. Wait until they stop blinking.
Plug the DMC BOX into the outlet again.

My sound is showing some flaws:

As with any piece of audio equipment, cables can also have some problems.
In some cases, it may just be a matter of maintenance or, in other cases, the cable or equipment will need to be replaced if it is damaged.

First make sure the DMC BOX and your audio device are turned on. Then, if you plug in the cable and no sound comes out, you can use a standard P2 headphone, to test, check if there is any audio return, if this occurs it may be that a solder has come loose or the internal wires have broken your sound cable, which is common with cables that suffer twistings. Test by switching to another cable and see if it works. Most of the time when the sound does not come out, this change is enough to solve the problem.

A wrong cable may have been installed in the equipment. If you don't know which cable to connect, consult your audio equipment's user manuals. A good identification of the cables helps, sometimes we can connect an input as an output and vice versa. If you suddenly don't hear any sound, it could be due to a broken cable or because the plug didn't fit all the way into the input of the equipment. Just give it a little push and that's it!

I'm having trouble displaying the image on the screen:

Check if the contracted service offers Digital Signage in its package.
Check that the video cable connecting the monitor and the DMC BOX is correctly and securely connected between the DMC BOX and the monitor.
Check if the outlet is working correctly connected from both devices.
Use the control in the on/off function, pressing it may or may not turn on the monitor.
Reconnect the video cable, if necessary (before disconnecting the devices from the socket, to avoid damaging the equipment's video input)
Restart the DMC BOX, removing the power cable on the side and plugging it in again.
